Scott loves nothing but to be everyone's friend, even the ones he's not supposed to be nice to. He's the kind of guy who sees the good side of everyone, as well as the kind who always sees the light at the end of the tunnel - even if it is just a train. He's always ready to spring into action and help anyone in need. However, due to his kind heartedness, he can't quite sense danger even when it hits him in the face, but that's what Mike is for! He's ditzy and goofy, and can't really stay serious for a long time, but he tries (keyword: tries).

Mike's the complete opposite of Scott, who spews sunlight and rainbows and just radiates puppies. He's got a snappy attitude and doesn't give two damns if you don't like it. He can't stand anyone, but miracously manages Scott's 24/7 company. He also almost never gets off his head, and wants things to be like that. Mike's the one who makes sure to keep Scott inline and out of as much trouble as he can.
History:
He'd always lived with his grandfather since as long as he could remember. Scott never knew much of his parents - his grandfather would always avoid the subject, and he never pestered the man. Throughout his childhood, he'd been shown and trained by his grandfather the ways of war; however, due to his mental capacity, the only things he ever remebered were the physical lessons he had (e.g.: shooting, sneaking, fighting, etc) since those were the ones he had fun with. At around the age of 10, he was sent to live with the son of his grandpa's friends' son after the aged man has passed away. The house was located near a beach, so Scott would regularly spend his time there moping.
One day, he found a net caught on some rocks, and he found a purple little octopus
